What is Maker Mindset?
We help neurodivergent learners grow academically and personally. Through hands-on makerspace experiences that combine tutoring, creativity, executive functioning support, and real-world problem-solving. Students build confidence while developing the academic and life skills they need to succeed.
In our supportive environment, learners are encouraged to think critically, take thoughtful risks, and learn through iteration. Their completed projects either return home as a symbol of achievement or are donated to benefit others, reinforcing both confidence and community responsibility.
Instruction is personalized and data-informed, blending project-based learning with explicit, systematic teaching when foundational skills require targeted support. Students strengthen academic knowledge, executive functioning, and problem-solving skills through authentic creation and structured reflection.
